A collaboration between international prize winning musicians

Lorna McGhee was born in Scotland and studied flute with William Bennet at the Royal Academy of Music, London where she was awarded the Queen's Commendation for Excellence. As a concerto soloist Lorna has performed with the London Symphony Orchestra as a winner of the 1993 Shell/LSO Scholarship, and with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra. Lorna was co-principal flute of the BBC Symphony Orchestra (?-1999) and also appeared with the Marais Ensemble, European Soloists' Ensemble, St. Martin-in-the-Fields, and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe. Lorna now freelances in Vancouver, BC.
