 Alison Nicholls holds a small private studio near Cambridge which includes regular one on one tuition as well as frequent masterclasses. As well as traditional performance classes, the studio experience includes an holistic approach to the instrument and related issues; for example, last term included a pilates masterclass focussing on particular issues and stresses related to harp performance. Ms Nicholls has coached the harp section of the Cambridgeshire County Youth Orchestra, and has been tutor for the London Schools Symphony Orchestra. Ms Nicholls has also adjudicated the harp classes at the Northampton Music Festival.
